Hiya friends and welcome to my blog! My name is Jerason Dean and I am 29 years old. I was born in Paducah, Kentucky and raised on the border between Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois. I received my degree from Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis and wiggled my way up to the Windy City just a few days after graduating in 2015. I’ve been a proud Chicagoan ever since.

My blog is where I write about the things I enjoy and where I share special nuggets of my life as they happen. This blog was started as a way to promote all of the projects I work on outside of my regular 9-to-5 but its turned into so much more. I hope while you’re here you find a bit of inspiration in all of the things that make me happy.

There are not enough words to express enough how much I appreciate your support.Thank you for stopping by!

What you’ll find:

I love music. In fact, it’s been a huge part of my life since I was old enough to speak. I also come from a very musical family. In 5th grade, I got the solo for “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” in our spring concert and the rest was history. Not to mention my obsession with America’s sweetheart, Dolly Parton. In this section of my blog, you’ll find everything from music reviews to musical fun facts. You’ll also be kept up-to-date on my own music career with Dahlia Mines.

Another Passion of mine is gardening. I grew up in my Grandma’s house far from the city lights and surrounded by miles of lush countryside. My grandmother has always had the greenest of thumbs and I’ve learned a whole lot from her throughout the years. So, you’ll see my obsession with watching my plant collection grow. You’ll also see my constant search for information about how I can lessen my carbon footprint. Though that’s something I admittedly need to do much better at. I’m also a proud National Geographic subscription owner and love learning about all the different issues effecting our world today. You can expect to find all topics related to the above right here.

Here is where you’ll find everything else you need to know about me and my passions or at least what I can fit. Over the years, I’ve picked up hobbies like video gaming and photography and found a love for coffee and wine. I’ll share my thoughts and opinions on different matters and I might even throw in a product review here or there. I’d say you could probably find everything but the kitchen sink here but I have an itch for home design too. So, you may even find some of that here in the near future.
