Hiya friends, and welcome to my site! My name is Jerason Dean, and I am 29 years old. I was born in Paducah, Kentucky and raised on the border between Western Kentucky and Southern Illinois. I received my degree from Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis and wiggled my way up to the Windy City just a few days after graduating in 2015. I’ve been a proud Chicagoan ever since.
My site is where I post about my music and where I share special nuggets of my life as they happen. This site was started as a way to promote all of the projects I work on outside of my regular 9-to-5, but it continues to turn into so much more. I hope while you’re here, you find a bit of inspiration in all of the things that make me happy.
There are not enough words to express enough how much I appreciate your support. Thank you for stopping by!
What you’ll find:
I love music. In fact, it’s been a huge part of my life since I was old enough to speak. I also come from a very musical family. In 5th grade, I got the solo for “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” in our spring concert, and the rest was history. Not to mention my obsession with America’s sweetheart, Dolly Parton. In this section of my site, you’ll find all of my released music and be kept up-to-date on my side projects with Dahlia Mines.
Crooner Has It
Crooner Has It is a project I started in 2021 to condense the other gigs I work on outside my music. I was dividing my attention into so many different directions that I decided to create a brand that my new podcasting adventure and my show at Newport Theater could fall under together.
